The dawn of the Okoro's

Hi! I go to meet Prince Ralph four nights from now... and thank goodness, too. I'm going bonkers here in Saturn. I've been going to and fro the West and up North. There has been meetings between the significant people of Saturn... for many days now. I am really tired of this life. :\

The resistance (west) have been trying to recruit again. I hope they don't attack anytime soon, that will be problematic. Also, there is a boy in the resistance a year older than me.... His name is Daktari and he's teasing me... and hitting on me. Usually anything between those two... I mean, he's been professing love to me, but he takes the first chance he could get to humiliate me. I am insulted because it feels almost like he's testing me... like he's trying to see if I am indeed befitting to be his wife. And it irks me because he is so fucking confident! >:|plus he laughs at anything and everything...and I am the queen of bitterness so we completely clash, we practically explode away from each other.

And I only met him recently, too. I mean, I've known his name all my life but I only met him face to face and got to know him just this summer. I am obligated to be angry at his family, and I am and rightly so... so there is obviously no chance for this cocky boy, even if he is rather attractive. I mean...he is Daktari Okoro, the second son of Bhorn Okoro... the traitor son who forsook his house to join The Resistance. I mean, true, he turned away from his name, but he is still an Okoro.

By the way, I don't think you completely understand what I'm blabbing about. Okoro was the second last family to rule Saturn before the Valentine. And what with Sir Bhorn Daktari naming his first son Taji (which means Crown in Saturnian tongue)... one can only assume that they are certainly out to get the throne.

The Valentine's and the Okoro's have always been at each other's throat, ever since my family won the conquest for the throne. I naturally hate Kassa, the youngest Okoro... she is, first of all, a girl and a year younger than me, second, a slut, and third she's just fucking irritating okay?! I hate their family....

And I can't believe I just found out that Ray has befriended Sir Bhorn's youngest son, Fahim. He is my age and very smart.... you see why I don't trust him? I'm not sure of the "depth" of their friendship, but Ray seems very fond of the boy. AND I JUST REALLY DON'T LIKE IT! He's stealing my brother's attention. :| This is obviously a trap....
I mean, call me paranoid, but Daktari romancing me is easily because their family will become closer to the throne if I marry him. Also, Fahim and his mind games...

--- wait, why the fuck am I seeing him around the North Castle?? FUCK. Why did the guards...? No, why did Ray let him enter the castle grounds just like that?

...he just walked on by and glared at me! >:O UGh.
Okay, so maybe it was more like a squint + smirk thing....
Or... maybe something softer than that.

Hmm...I don't like this. I've been sensing too much Okoro's around me lately. I have a strong feeling that they are really on the move. Tsk. You stupid black haired, dark skinned bitches. 

Whatever. I'm not falling for your dirty tricks you fucking Okoro's. >:\

April fools and governance

So April fools has passed! :D This year's winner is my brother. Lucky Remy got to crown him personally....... I'm starting to hate the girl. Also, questioning her luck.... is that a Saturnian thing? Luck?

Anyways, since I haven't really been up to anything lately, I'll just talk about how Governance work here.
So yeah. Currently we have our family standing on the throne.... How we got it? Through conquests. You have to be, first of all, RICH. Second, STRONG. Doesn't matter where you come from, so long as you can win the conquest and kill the last ruler. Sounds harsh, no?
Anyway, the ruling is absolute and done by the King and Queen, but mostly the King. Saturn is then split into four main areas; North, South, East and West. The King's sibling/s (in today's case, Uncle Godel) usually stand as Hand of the King and govern either West or East as a stand in for the King...... the King handles the North, the Queen handles the South. But they are all in absolute command under the King.

In our case, since my dad doesn't have siblings, we have Uncle Godel (son of the last Hand of the King) standing as Hand, sub-ruler of the North main ruler of the West....Li and I are sub-rulers under Uncle Godel's guide. But soon enough my mother will take either one of us as sub-rulers of the South....it'll probably be me, since Li's mother is Rhean and he has a land to rule there as well..... but if I get engaged to a Rhean Prince...then that's where it gets complicated. Ray rules the East under no one (often dad), which is great practice for him as heir. Aside from that, he's under King Ar's guidance in sub-ruling over Mars' North. Busy man.

Yeaahhh.... So you can only imagine what I'm going through when I'm home. I'm stuck with paperwork and invites and complaints and all the things people worry about. I need to go here and there to check construction progress and the supported charities and shit. Oh.... I also need to go meet Prince Ralph some time this April. Pretty excited about that! :>
