goodbyes, regrets and too much studying

Five years ago was kind of sad.

I had only one more year until Agoge, so I was all fired up. But that was also the year Ray and Li left for their Agoge. And that was the last time I ever saw my cousin Sam's face. He really never returned from Agoge, and of course, the royal family sent a search team for him. His body was found and almost not identified. It was a brutal murder, but also with some complicated medical reason. I feel really sad whenever I think back on his 12-years-old face, saying goodbye to me, to Li. At least I still got to see Li again, right? And I didn't really get many chances to bond with Sam before Agoge. Also, Ray ran away five years ago, so I sneaked to get his file to follow him....only to realize that he was found a year later, exactly after the first week of my Agoge.

It was really a suckish year. All I remember are goodbyes, regrets and too much studying.
